Hello. I'm looking to buy HP's quickship DV7-7212nr which is a Win8 machine. I want to downgrade to Win 7 (have my own Ultimate install disc/license). I also want to install my newly purchase Crucial M500 960GB SSD.

Any issues with swapping this SSD? Does HP limit the size of SSD that can be installed? If so, any BIOS changes I can make to get it to work?

I've seen the other posts in driver issues with downgrading to Win7, so if anyone has any thoughts...I would appreciate those as well.

    TIA
