    With P7450 & 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4530.

Will it be ok. Smooth? Do I need the 1 gig video card?
Also since this is not a 1920p screen how will bluray look?

Your gpu is more than powerful enough for Bluray playback. Your CPU is actually more important but even then your cpu will suffice.

It will look just like ummm.. bluray on your screen?

Well dvds movies play at 720p and bluray at 1080p so video quality should be in between the two.

Is it worth it to upgrade to 7200rpm drive for normal use. Web, word, stuff like that? It's either going with the 7200rpm drive or 2.4 cpu. It think cpu is better bet.

No, you will barely notice the difference.

If you have a 250-320gb 5400rpm, it is actually as fast as a 200gb 7200rpm due to platter data density.
