This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is there any place we can set the property of fan, like always on, always max.

    looks like, the fan will never be turned off. My old acer is super silenced when the fan is off, I pretty like it. (Though it's super noisy when the fan is on)

    No fan control is impossible unless you own a Dell (except XPS)..

    There is an option in BIOS, "Fan always on".
