Has anyone with a dv7t noticed a slight/moderate amount of flex in their numeric keypad? The feel of the keys seem q different than the main board. The main keyboard has no springiness at all. Just wondering if this is typical or not in this model. Thanks.

It's the case with all HP notebooks, even on the business models. I don't know why they do that.
Oh well, after all, what do you expect from a consumer range laptop???

I haven't noticed flexing on my DV7t. It's superb. The DV9700T did have a little flex. It shouldn't be much to worry about though.

If it's not an excessive amount of flex, I wouldn't worry. It's pretty normal given the numpad's location over the optical drive.

Thanks for the input, seems to be that a bit of flex in the #pad is typical. I just wish the entire keyboard had a more consistent feel. Might just check out BB and see how their dv7t feel for comparison before calling HP :(
