I understand this is in the wrong section. My reason for posting here is that I figured more people would read and know how to help me with my task. I want to overclock my 7690M because it is the best that I could order (2gb version). Laptop has a Core i7 (2.2 to 3.1), 8gb ram, 750gb 7200rpm, 2gb ATI Radeon 7690m. I do not have the laptop yet as it will be here next week but have read that they are not the most powerful card and I plan to play Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and WoW possibly. Thanks, Brad.

(P.S. I am attempting to add a sig but cant figure it out)

The 7690M should be sufficient to play those games at high settings - none of them are particular graphic hogs. The 2GB version doesn't actually have any essential difference from the 1GB version - the card can't generally use more than 1 GB of RAM anyway - most mid-range cards can't.

If you want overclocking advice, ask in the gaming section or do a forum search.

Signature options can be found in the User CP section.

Set it to Fixed graphic switching in BIOS and then use MSI Afterburner or Sappire Trixx to overclock.

Even at stock clock you still can play those game u mentioned on Medium settings.
