    dv8013cl QuickPlay Problem

    Hi all! I just found this forum and it looks like there is a tremendous wealth of knowledge here that I would love to tap into!

    I have an HP dv8013cl running XP and I am having problems with my quickplay... When the computer is off and I try to start quickplay (using either button) the first quickplay screen shows but then the screen goes and stays black, and quickplay is seemingly stopped in its tracks. I have updated the quicklaunch buttons driver and the buttons work fine when windows is running, but not when trying to quicklaunch when the computer is powered down.

    Does anyone have any ideas why this has happened and how to possibly fix it?
