    Ave,

I'm just wondering - is there any chance or news or rumor of the dv8t or perhaps even a new model/series that would get the HD 5870 Graphics Card? This notebook is excellent & is running all other latest specs .... but the GPU option absolutely sucks! A complete deal breaker.

    Thanks!

Something of that calibre would be in an Envy, not a Pavillion. Rumor has it that an Envy 17 will debut sometime this year. Though given HP's track record, they'd probably opt for the 5850 in an Envy 17.

I was really hoping for the 18.4" Core i7 / 5870 combo. I'm looking at the Alienware M17x right now - it's supposed to get the 5870 refresh most likely this month. But HP beats the screen-size ... which is why I've been looking at the dv8t.
