Did you know those 2 prong airline headphones can be used with your dv9000 with dual mini audio-out plugs? I didn't until just now. Last time I flew on Continental Airlines I kept a pair. It's been sitting near my computer for a few months gathering dust. I couldn't find my regular headphones, so as a hunch, I tried the airline pair in my dv9000. Using both plugs, it works fine and plays separate L/R stereo channels.

Yes it's nice to know. I might go ahead and buy one then next time I travel. But then again a regular headset does fine too on my laptop. So does your laptop have a two headphone jacks and connect it from there? Doesn't make sense using 2 headphone jacks for one listener!

Depending on the airline, but some give you the headphones for free.

Hmm. Good test indeed, but I think those airline headphones are junk, at least from my recollection.

Usually, can't you fold one of the prongs in?

Speaking from Thai Airways, but from years ago...
