Anything new come out such as a driver or download that will help the laptop cool? Been trying everything for months with no lock. Called HP and they said its gonna cost me to fix something that the knew was wrong in the first place. Not to mention Wifi is going out. So any updates that will help me out?

If WiFi is going out, that means that your NVIDIA northbridge chip is failing. It's too late for a software fix. If HP weasels out of fixing it by not including your particular model in their enhanced warranty program:

the only thing left to do, other than a motherboard replacement, is to attempt to reflow the NVIDIA chip. At least two people here have done so successfully but it's a last resort option.

Well if it has a chance to leave my laptop unusable, then I rather not even try and yes, I believe they did not include my laptop on that list even though it has all the same symptoms of the other laptops on that list. I really hate HP, worst buy ever.
