    dv9000 vs dv6000 vs. dv2000

    the difference is essentially in terms of processor speed, HDD, graphics card, display size,weight and battery life options right?

    but if you configure up the dv6000 and the dv2000 they cost almost the same today ($50 price difference).

    Given the various ehating issues reported on this forum by dv9000 owners would you advise me going for the 6000 instead?

    My heating issue was pretty extreme, and I'm thinking that it was clearly a build problem. If others have been using theirs for more than 20 minutes at a time, they're doing better than I was, so I wouldn't be too quick to judge the entire line by my limited experience. My replacement is on the way and I plan on taxing it pretty heavily right away to ensure that it's not a design issue. If you're really not sure which way to go, I would give it a little more time and wait until more experiences and wider reviews start trickling in.

    thanks. thats what im doing. would appreciate if you can post your experience with the new machine when u can. btw where does one find all these coupons being referred to?
