I have a mystery that I hope someone can help with. My dv9000 (dv9308nr) won't connect with my daughter's NETGEAR wireless router. Specifically the router is a NETGEAR WPNT 834. My computer works great with my Motorola wireless router. It also works great with my mothers Linksys wireless router and the wireless router at work. Don't know the brand of the router at work. I've verified multiple times the network key, etc. My daughter's Apple Macbook with the same key works properly. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

All I can think of is to try installing the latest firmware into the Netgear router and installing the latest wireless drivers from hp.com for your notebook. Updating the firmware is the more likely of the two to work, if either thing does.

Also check that your AV or Internet Security Software (if you have such programs installed) is not blocking access to that particular Network Connection.
