Does the quality/reliability of the business class laptops (nx9240/nx9440)justify the extra expense over the dv9000t? I am careful with my equipment, but I do love quality.

I can get a very good deal on the dv9000t from Costco, including warranty (3 yr), dual drives, etc. for a lesser price than a "plain-jane" business class laptop (no dual drives, 1yr warranty, less memory, etc...).

I don't do games so graphics card is not an issue, but would like a 17" screen & a full-size keyboard.

Can the nx9240/9440 take a 2nd hard drive? Is it really worth it? Or should I wait for "santa rosa"?

    Thanks

Oh yes it does. The two do not even compare in terms of build quality and customer service.

No it cannot, though external hard drives are always an option if you need more space.

Santa Rosa is only a few weeks away at best, so you might want to wait and get an updated computer if you can hold out.
