Has anyone ordered a dv9000z yet? I ordered it a few days ago, and it's not estimated to ship until the 28th, which kind of sucks. If you've ordered one, how long did it/will it take to ship?

HP usually gives a shipping date that is on the conservative side to make sure that they can actually get it out by then. Anyway, I'm sure it will ship by the 28th if not before and when it does ship it will take 3-4 days for it to arrive at your home. HP notebooks (along with practically all other companies notebooks) come from China but FedEx does a good job of getting it to you and will probably get it to you a day or two earlier than the estimation that they will give you. Good luck and let us know how you like your new laptop once you get it.

Thanks. Yeah, when I ordered my dv8000t it shipped quicker than it was supposed to. After I use my dv9000z for a while, I'll let people know what I think of it. I'll try to post some pictures too, because it's hard to find any on the internet. I might even do a review, but I don't understand how to do the "marks" thing, or what it even means...

basically they ship 10 days after you order it (2 days ahead of their estimated time)... depending on your location maybe

The "marks" thing you are probably referring to is 3dmark05 and 3dmark06. These are just benchmark programs that you can download for free. I'm not sure where you get them as I have never done this but basically you just run the application and it tells you your benchmark.
