    Hello,

I'm doing the downgrading (so to speak) of a 9320us to XP. I have audio, video, networking, BIOS, and many other things sucessfully installed. All I am lackign, it seems, is the Wireless, the Modem (which I don' care about) and in Device Manager I have three 'base system' and one 'coprocessor' listed under unknown devices.

Which Wireless driver will work, and what are those 'base system' files? Any idea where I can get the proper drivers to install those?

    Thanks for this forum!!

You will probably need drivers for the Nvidia chipset, Broadcom wireless, Conexant modem and the ricoh multimedia card reader. Try the drivers located in the dv9000z downlods section.

If some of these doesnt work then try downloading the Vista version, extract and install via the device manager. Most of the time the core drivers between Vista and Xp are the same and since HP has updated some hardware on the system which are sold with Vista, installing the Vista driver should work fine...

Hurrah! Thanks so much. I have ONE exclamation point left, under 'coprocessor' I tried the Motherboard updates, and am not sure which of the remaining drivers might address this, but it seems to be working all right despite that exclamation mark. Any idea what it it?

In any event, thank you so much!!

Did you ever install the AMD processor driver listed on the download page?

If you did, it should be showing up under Processor in Device Manager.
