I ordered a customised dv9500t from the hp site a couple of weeks ago. I don't live in the US myself, but decided to purchase the laptop from there since the prices are much more competitive. Anyway, the laptop was delivered to a relative's house who then brought it with her from the US.
When I unpacked and opened the laptop, I noticed that the supplying documentation stated the laptop's model as dv9000. The model on the upper right corner just above the laptop's screen also states the model as dv9000. However, there is a sticker beneath the laptop which states the model as a dv9500.
The specifications are all as I had ordered:
T7300
2 GB RAM
8600 GS
160 GB.
Tried to get in touch with HP, but their website is down for maintenance. I just wanted to ask whether this will affect the laptop (aside from slightly decreasing the show-off value) performance wise?
It is impossible for me to return the laptop as the shipping from my country to the US would just cost too much.
Can anybody reassure me...or otherwise?![]()

Alrighty, this question has been asked too many times.
1. A dv9500t is technically a dv9000t. 9500 is in the 9000 series.
2. HP didn't change the sticker.
3. It's a $#%@!*& sticker!!!
4. See comment 3. -
What difference does it make?
And the specs are that of the dv9500. That's all that should matter.
dv9500 in dv9000 case?
