I know this has been asked before but the search on the forums doesn't seem to go far back much.

I currently have 2gb of memory on my DV9500T. 1gb on each slot (2 slots total). Can I buy a 2gb module and put that in one of the slots to make it 3gb?? I don't want to go to Vista 64bit for a full 4gb but would prefer 3gb for Vista 32bit (currently installed) instead of 2gb of memory.

    Thanks!

You should be able to without issue.

Yes, you will be able to purchase a 2GB stick of RAM for your computer and use 3GB with no problem. Remember, the max speed RAM you can use is 667 Mhz. Also, dual channel will not work because the RAM sticks aren't the same, but it's not a huge difference and you won't notice it.
