This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Will the HD audio drivers from Realtek ( http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ ) work on the dv9500t?

    I'm hesitant as the driver version on HP's site is 6.0.1.5384 A (released 04-2007) while on Realtek's it is R1.73 (released 8/14/2007) are not similar in any way and the files sizes are different (15 MB vs 18 MB respectively). So are they the same thing and can I use them?
