okay, so i just got my dv9500t.
and i managed to silp sata driver and install the xp
the problem is when i tried to install intel chipset driver included in the pack,
i get the error message
this application has failed to start because the application configuration is
incorrect. reinstalling the application may fix this problem
so i gave up on the chipset installation and tried to install xp service pack
and i stops and says the file is corrupt. so i burned the service pack
in rar, exe fomat again. exe format does not work again and rar does not
extract due to crc error.
can somebody help me out, i am going crazy over here. thanks

try reinstalling xp, i think something went wrong with your install
-
i burned xp again and reinstalled twice
still the same result -
Make sure you have SP2 installed. Most new drivers won't install unless you have the minimum requirements, usually SP2. Does your XP install disc have SP2 slipstreamed? If not, just install the SP2 after you install XP. Let us know how it goes.
