I got an error saying the video card drivers failed, and then one that said they had been repaired, so i continued to play world of warcraft, seconds later my system froze up. So i did a hard boot. Now the system turns on to a black screen, the hardrive activity light doesn't do anything just sits there, the screen goes from black to gray to white if left on.

Yesterday it randomly decided to work (after about 32 hours of the black screen) So i did a system restore to 2 days previous hoping that would fix the video card driver issue but once again when i tried to play world of warcraft it crashed my system, had to hard boot once again and now i'm stuck in the same place as before.

Any ideas whats going on? was it just luck that it came back up? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well it won't be a good diagnosis.
