I don't know much about video cards. I mean, everyone's talking about Halo 3 and how it's graphics are great, but for me, I Final Fantasy 6 Advance 's graphics are enough for me to handle. I hear about NVIDA this and GEFORCE that, but I don't know how to compare them.

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M (UMA) is it's video card. Can it play games like Fable: the Lost Chapters... oh I'll do the research all by myself. Don't worry. Wait, tell me other games it can play like

can it play Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War?

Ideally you want the GeForce 8400GS upgrade you can get with configure-to-order laptops but for strategy games the shared memory 7150M will probably suffice. You'll lose some eye candy. Modern first person shooters like Halo 3 are out of the question.

You can do that with Best Buy laptops?

What I meant to say, was that would specialized Best Buy employees configure it for you?

You can configure it direct from HP and they currently have a $400 off of a $1200 purchase which is valid until midnight(11/24) tonight. So you might be able to get a better spec than what BB has at a lower price. Integrated graphics cards(which borrow memory from the main system memory) like the 7150M/X3100/X1270 are OK if you do very light gaming but anything over that you will need dedicated graphcis cards.

I picked up basically the same computer from Staples yesterday (Black Friday Sale).. dv9620

It was $953 (after tax)... but will end up being $903 after I send in the $50 rebate...

Boy Oh Boy!! I LOVE THIS THING!!!

I have been busy for the past 2 days customizing it and trying to get it exactly how I want it... uninstalling bloatware, and installing software I had on my desktop...

    It's an amazing laptop!
