    dv9700t Webcam Clarity

    Hi, I posted in another thread about the clarity of my webcam but thought it would be better to start a new thread. The XP drivers I'm using are the HP 1.3 MP True Image (or something like that...you know what I'm talking about) provided by HP. There appears to be a lot of speckles/noise.

    I may just be tripping, so I was hoping some others could compare this to what they see with their webcams and tell me if your's looks clearer or about the same. Thanks.

    There was somethign about the latest hp laptops dont use 1.3mp webcams anymore. It uses a low light VGA camera 640x480@20fps.. it was discussed before somewhere..

    My old dv2000 used to say 1.3mp on the actual webcam itself.. the new one just says HP.

    The DV9700 installed camera has great capabilities compared to old DV90xx series. I have never seen such good webcam installed in the laptops before and after.
