    Hey guys. I wanted to ask, how can one get his hands on a coupon for the new HP dv9700t. I have never shopped from HP before so I don't know if I am entitled to one. If anyone has a coupon, they can PM me. If you have any other ideas, please share them.

    Watch the forums and keep an eye on the Laptop Deals. The forum bot Deals will post whenever new coupons come out.

    This forum has a "Notebook and Tech Bargains" section which will alert you to the HP coupons. And you can just google "HP Coupons" to pull up a number of sites that will also advertise them. The best HP discount I have seen is the $500 coupon which runs intermittently and can be used at checkout at HP's on-line site.

    I recently bought a new dv9700t laptop with a $500 coupon. I have posted extensively about my experiences. It you want additional details you can do a search here for them.

    Hey, I'd like to say that I have posted the same question, and Canyon has answered it. I have waited for a month for a coupon to come out, but it hasn't. I just hope it comes out in August.

    I'd just like to say that I like the notebook too, since it has such a great price for a modern gaming notebook.

    What I'd like to know is the pattern of the coupon appearing. Every two, three, four months?

    I learned about HP Coupons in mid February. Over the next 2-3 months I saw the $500 coupon run several times. Over the last month I have stopped paying attention. I did do a little research initially and estimated it was running every 1-2 months. Bear in mind this time frame was just an estimate at best.

    As to what HP will do in the future about their coupons and prices, is hard to say. There is an indication unfortunately, that laptop prices in general are probably going to rise. See the following article.

    I hope you get this in time. I am planning on buying a 17in HP for college next year. I have been watching the dv9700t for the last year. I'm waiting untill august for hopefully the new intel platform to be integrated into HP's new laptop line in mid july. Here is a link to a code for 30% off the 9700t.
