This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     dvd playing problems

    Everytime I play a DVD with the dv9220us laptop, after around 20 minutes the screen freezes and the dvd player can't read the dvd disk anymore. This happens with all of the disks I have tried so far. It seems that when the unit warms up too much, it can't read the disks anymore.

    Anyone else have this problem? Do you think I need a new burner?
