    e-SATA cable for DV7 question.

    I have a 3.5" enclosure for HDD that have an horizontal "L" e-SATA interface but i don't know what kind of e-SATA have DV7 that i ordered. Can someone tell me what kind of e-SATA cable should i buy?

    I am not familiar with an L e-sata cable. All e-sata cables I have seen are the same same flat connector. The DV-7 I have uses the standard e-sata cable, but does not recognized all e-sata devices I have tried to attached to it. I have a rosewell PC Card with 2 e-sata ports I got from newegg that all my e-sata devices work from as well. I think you have a standard sata connector if it is L shaped.     Yes i have the male of "SATA A" in that picture in my enclosure it is what i call "L" since it has an L form . Can you tell me what is the one in DV7?
