This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     e14: high volume speaker problems

    So at first I was really amazed by the high volume sound my speakers were able to produce... but then... this nonsense started happening where everything would freeze and hear major distortion.

    The scariest part is that this is what started to happen before the graphics card of my old laptop blew. I just go this 2 days ago, so I would really prefer that NOT to happen.

    edit: this problem is pretty much nonexistant on lower volume settings, so if there is a volume limiter program, that might solve this in the short run.
    Evidently youtube killed the sound so I guess I'll try to upload it some other way.
