whenever my laptop is plugged in it seems if i touch the outer edge of the keyboard (the metal) on ethier side...near the AC and the dvd drive it seems to lightly shock me  like i can feel it tickling my fingers...is this just me?? or do others have this too.. my palms on the palm rest is fine..

the USB port is the worst tho be careful when your plugging in a micro mouse transceiver it will shock bad.

am i just some magnet type person lol xD ???

Don't take the risk. If you feel like it's shocking you, then send it in and explain it to them in detail.

This happened to me once. I think it has something to do with the power cable, since the only time it happens is when it's plugged in. Try re-adjusting your cable and see if that fixes the problem. It fixed it for me, and I haven't had any problems since.

Even if it doesn't fix the problem, I don't think it's worth the hassle to RMA, especially since it's such a minor problem. Unless it's indicative of something more serious.

You don't have shag carpeting, do you? Wear a lot of wool? Play with Van de Graaf generators a lot?

The E14's chassis is made of metal, so if you're just getting little static zaps, it's a fair chance that it's static that's built up in your own body, but if it's more like the sensation you get from licking a 9-volt battery or playing that cheap little plastic game with the buzzers that shocks the last person to buzz in, then yeah, it's definitely a problem.

You probably need a 3-prong adapter. Let me guess...you have a two prong one?
