    As the title says..is envy 13 worth the 899? The weight/screen ratio is what's attracting me to this laptop.. I also read that it's sorta noisy--is this true?

    It's an okay deal but for $1000 you could get a Macbook and sell the free ipod touch that it comes with so it works out to the same amount.

    Edit: Provided you don't mind OSX.

    Go with the Envy, why would you even want a Macbook? You get stuck with OSX as well, which I wouldn't wish upon anyone

    I really prefer the macbook over the 13 envy, but the price is good, in terms of performance they are almost equals, the macbook takes the lead on this one, and the get a ipod touch annual offer is just too good to miss.

    aside that the battery life is awesome with the mac
