    Hello, I've just purchased the Envy 13 and can't get the external Ethernet adapter to connect at gigabit speed as advertised by the product specifications.

    Product spec: HP Envy 13-1099eo Notebook PC Product Specifications - HP Customer Care (United States - English)...

    RJ45 USB Dongle is: "usb ethernet adapter // part no. 538507-001 // spares part no. 539614-001"

    Driver is: AXIS USB2.0 to Fast Ethernet Adapter Driver - HP Customer Care (United States - English)...

    Network chipset is identified as AX88772A ASIX USB 2.0 LAN Adapter, USB LAN Adapter Solution

    Single chip Low-pin-count USB 2.0 to 10/100M Fast Ethernet controller

    Properties/advanced/connection type only gives the options of;

    Auto Sense/ 100BaseTx Full Duplex/ 100BaseTx Half Duplex/ 10BaseT Full Duplex/ 10BaseT Half Duplex/

    None of witch gives gigabit speed through Cat6 cable to my D-Link DIR-655 Gigabit Router.

    Is the product spec/dongle wrong or the chipset identification/driver?

    Regards

    Anders
