Just want some confirmation here before i contact HP support. Im wondering if my dedicated GPU is faulty at all??
My system is the HP envy 15z-j000 (2013) AMD A10-5850m with the dedicated amd radeon 8750m.

When ever i run a game on my 8750m i get about 3 fps. Im using windows 8.1 and using the 8.1 video driver provided from HP's website.
I'll switch a game over to my power saver gpu using CCC and then the game will run better. a lot better. No matter what graphics settings i use with the 8750m enabled the game is always laggy. Some games this has happened in are CoD Black ops 1. Rift, Borderlands 2 and firefall.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

P.S. is there i way i can make sure that dual graphics is actually working?? Maybe im misinformed but isn't dual graphics the same as crossfire but with an APU and GPU?

I have a Samsung ATIV Book 8 with the HD8770M and I use the 13.11 Beta 1 drivers. maybe try the latest driver from AMD

OK so i was able to fix this issue myself. Turns out the issue was windows 8.1
This same sort of issue happened when i upgraded my desktop so I went back to windows 8 and all my games run perfectly smooth now.
I did use the HP drivers for windows 8.1 and those didnt solve the issue. so seems like 8.1 is having some issues with video cards.

I'm having this same issue and mine is the intel processor and geforce graphics. Very frustrating.
