i just noticed that theres a big gap along almost the whole right side of the top cover between the display and the cover. theres also one on the left side, but just a small one on the bottom.

i tried pushing the display back in, but i doesnt stick inside and pokes out immediately. as if the bezel got bended outwards somehow...

take a look at the screenshots, one with flash, one without (where you can clearly see inside behind the display where the space between the display & cover is illuminated by the backlight.

the envy is already out of warranty.. is the display somehow glued to the bezel or something inside, or are there some clips that seem to be broken why there is a gap now, or what does it look like inside, if anyone has already opened the cover to replace a display?
i have already done that a lot of times on the elitebook series, but never on an envy, so im hesitating a bit before i would open it to check what i could do about that..

does anone know how i could fix that?

    thanks
