This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     envy15 Gen1 WILL accept new 11.4 drivers

    Title says it all. I have installed them and they are working without issue. Go thou and do likewise :)

    No benchmarks yet, but FINALLY gen 1 4830 owners have an up to date driver.

    Tried this on mine, causes a blue screen on boot/reboot. Tried both updating the drivers from Dev manager, and a clean install. Looks like I'll just have to put up with the HP drivers :(

    Started the machine up yesterday and got blue screens as well, restored windows from an image and tried updating to 11.4 again and got bsods on boot-up as per the previous drivers.

    So this doesn't really work, although it worked fine earlier, hence my earlier post. Strange....
