What I got. Great price, fast shipping
What I have not got. Drivers or any setup info. Can anyone walk me through the set up for the DL516A expansion base w/wireless keyboard and mouse? HP offers no support documents for it. Thanks

    gershomww,
You should be able to simply plug the supplied power cable into the base, plug the cable from the base into the expansion base port on your notebook, plug the receiver into a USB port, place batteries in the mouse and keyboard, and let Windows do the rest. The whole unit powers up when you power up your notebook.

You may need to sync your keyboard with the receiver initially and from time to time by pressing the button on top of the receiver and pressing the button on the bottom of your keyboard.

I do not remember installing a driver. The supplied directions were unnecessary. HP included a lame little tray application that indicates when Caps Lock or Number Lock is activated.

I've had quite a bit of trouble with my HP Notebook Expansion Base. Within a couple of weeks, the keyboard was intermittently quitting, double/infinity-typing, etc., within a couple of months all of the ports on the base quit working, and within about three months the mouse quit. I am currently waiting for a new mouse, but I see the Microsoft keyboard and mouse combo on sale often and am almost ready to dump the keyboard and mouse supplied by HP. I must say, HP has replaced all of the faulty hardware. But I wish they would have supplied a quality wireless keyboard and mouse from the beginning.

When (not if, in my experience) you call HP for help with the Notebook Expansion Base, talk to a notebook technician. No one else will have any idea what you are talking about.

    Jeremy

Thanks for the reply, I got the keyboard going but the mouse seems to be dead...I'm waiting for a reply from the reseller about a replacement.
