Hey, I will be buying a HP dv9225 near the end of the month and I was just checking to check what people have seen in the performance of this laptop (or other dv9000 w/the GeForce Go 7600 256mb+) for playing games.

so if you've played ANY games this notebook...
plz tell me how it went!
    :p thanks.

I'm guessing the most taxing on that list would be F.E.A.R. and Battlefield 2142; of those, I'm sure you can get away with pretty good framerates at decent settings. I wouldn't expect maxed out everything, though; we're still talking about a laptop graphics card. :p

It's still a great performer, though. I have the 7600 w/256MB RAM, and I play both WoW and Guild Wars at max settings and get 30fps in cities and 40-80fps in other places (this is in WoW; haven't seen the FPS in Guild Wars yet, but I haven't seen any stutter or anything yet).
