Does anyone know if there's a way to plug in an external monitor on the zv6000 to have an extended desktop as opposed to just a mirror of the laptop screen

I have the same question, but for a zv5000. Because every time I connect to the extra monitor it just give me a mirrior and don't let me have a extended desktop.

You just need to configure it as such in the display properties. Right click on your desktop, properties, settings and hit the extend desktop checkbox.
