    extra high capacity dv9000 batteries?

    I ordered my dv9000t with the high capacity 8-cell battery, but was thinking I may want to get an extra one down the road. However, I don't see any sites listing this for sale (not even HP's own, which only lists the regular 8-cell battery). Can these be bought separately?

    Yes, you should be able to buy them from HP directly on their hpshopping.com website. I haven't seen them anywhere else.

    I only see one battery listed on the hp site for the dv9000 and it's not listed as a high capacity battery but simply "HP 8-cell Li-Ion Replacement Battery for Pavilion dv9000"

    Is there another one on there I'm missing?

    Last time I looked on the partsurfer website I think I saw it....

    the 2.55Ahr is the high capacity one.
