This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I wanted to to know if the sound card in my laptop is suppose to be able to to multichannel output, its conexant HD audio cx20561, i tried everything i can i and i can't get it to output 5.1 surround sound. I was unde the impression that HD audio implied multichannel
