Hi,
Overall, looks good.
12 cell: It gives you 4-5 hours of battery life (compared to 2-2.5
with 6 cell). But the notobook lifts up from the back by 0.6".
Weight also goes up to 6lbs. 12 cell battery does help with better
air ventillation, so left side doesn't get that warm.
LightScribe: Subjective...I got it as it's $25 upgrade. Some folks
thing it's a fad (only time will tell). CD-Rs with lightscribe coating
are expensive and it takes about 20 minutes to etch the pattern.
I like it though.
As MikeC has mentioned in other post, a faster cheaper alternative
is to get one of those printers that print directly on CDs...
If you have to travel and burn CDs (how likely...lightscribe may
come handy.

Personally I went with the lower turion processor, but made sure to get one that had the 1MB L2 cache, not the 512. I saw one of these at CompUSA before getting one on hpshopping.com
Overall your configuration looks good and I think you'll be very happy with it
I went with the 6 cell battery and might get a 12 cell for travel purposes at a later date.... -
Get 12 cell; no LightScribe (expensive media, slow burn times)
-
brianstretch Notebook Virtuoso
Get Bluetooth (can't be added later, except as an external USB thing) and I'd lean heavily towards the 12 cell battery option. Otherwise, looks good.
