This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    the fingerprint reader doesn't seem of too much use, and it seem to me a little bit redundant on the palm rest area. can it actually be used as a replacement for most(if not every) password diagram box? like when I try to open an word document which is password protected, I don't have to type in the password, but just scan my fingerprint.
