    fingerprint scanner not working

    my fingerprint scanner was working great until a couple of days ago then all of a sudden it stopped working. I tried resetting it and it keeps telling me to make sure it is hooked up to the computer correctly. Is there another way to reset it or how to fix it?

    device manager.. uninstall the device and re-install the native drivers or updated drivers.. Or disable it if you dont wanna use it cause its annoying
