i plan on purchasing the 8510p or 8510w when they are released in july and i had some questions...

1.) should i get one card of 2gb of ram or use both slots and get 3gb of ram?

2.) is there anyway that hp will program with windows vista ultimate?

3.) is the release date on the 2nd or the 5th?

i will be using the computer to run engineering programs and do schoolwork next year at UCLA and my budget is around 2500

Yes, HP will offer Vista Ultimate, and i have no idea about the release date though. And, if youre going to go with Vista, i'd recommend the Ultimate version. its got a lot of neat and very handy recovery and Wireless support features home premium doesnt have. you may very well need them and be thankful for them at some point in the future. its worth it.
