    (1) Well, first you connect to the Internet.
    (2) Then you e-mail me, so that I can give you my address.
    (3) You get my address, and ship me the laptop.
    (4) I send an e-mail to thank you for the gift.

I just kind of messed around with Vista for the first night and popped an extra 1GB stick of ram. When I woke up the next morning I did a clean install of Vista and installed all of the software that I use. Also, disabled UAC...that feature is incredibly annoying.

If you buy the docking station for it, use the D-Sub video connector and let us know if you get a BSOD after a few hours. We bought three 8510p's and all three BSOD if using D-Sub instead of DVI. Using DVI works fine so far however.

We like the 8510, has good contrast, brightness and speed but they moved the speakers to the front of the unit and they sound pretty bad compared to say the nw8440.

    Good luck with yours!
