    have you tried downloading the vista drivers for it from HPs website and seeing if maybe there might be XP drivers in them or if the Vista drivers work on XP?

    I have tried so many I think I already did that but will give it another shot.

    No luck so far. I have tried a bunch of different drivers.

    if you can locate a general set of drivers for your wireless card or for similar series, you can usually add in the device ID and get it to work. thats what was done to my Atheros card for XP drivers. they are not genuine but work great without any issues.
