    Hi,

Someone knows the difference between notebook HP g7-1368dx and g7-1328dx?
I read the specs for each one at Best buy website but I did not notice any difference. If not, why different model numbers?

Thanks for the answer and links.

I also think they are the same. I just do not understand why different number models.

I actually purchased the g7-1368dx. I called HP with the same question, and HP had no idea either.

When I cracked the cover (more RAM, of course), I found a module of what looks like Micron DDR3 12600 RAM instead of the standard Samsung module at 10600. While of course Llano can't do more than 1333 MHz in a laptop, it was nice to see. I also suspect that the hard drive is from a different manufacturer, although I was not privy to this information for the 1328dx as to what it carried.

I think it is the same machine, just with different sourced internals.

    g7-1368dx has a AMD processor.
g7-1328dx has an Intel i3. That might be the difference? :/
