i ordered a dv6000z 3 days ago and i cant wait till i get it.
it'll be my first laptop, i opted for the amd turion 64 x2 tl-60 over the intel's simply because of the price.i hope its a great laptop, i looked at the bench marks on some reviews of the amd turion 64 x2 tl-60 vs the first gen core dous and it seems like it beats them except for the battery life but im not to worried about that, because i'll be using it at the house anyway and by a outlet no doubt.i hear of all the bloatware and that, thats not a problem i'll just uninstall that stuff and go into the msconfig and turn off some things and go in the registry aswell,as i got a really crappy desktop and i have to do what i can to speed up load times. i compaired the dell 1505 to the dv6000 i thought i could of got better upgrades for the dell but i didnt like the look, intill i seen the dv6000z.although the tl-60 isnt top of the line its still a 2ghz processor.

oh and btw who does the shipping fedex? i think thats who it is i hope its not ups cause i used to work for them and they dont care about packages they just throw everything around no matter if it says fragile or not, probably fedex is the same way too. oh yeah what is a home&home office in box envelop just a cheap paper thin plastic notebook case that u use in the box? or what?

Yeah, Fedex is their carrier. They are pretty good and since the laptop ships from China, it usually takes around 4 days to arrive depending on your location. The home & home office envelope is just the packing slip, survey card, registration card & other junk papers they ship with the laptop.
