I had the same problem. It told me my 7400 was not supported. When I first installed Vista Microsoft found a Vista driver and installed it. Don't worry it will work. The drivers themselves are not very good but they work Aero fine. I have not tried gaming yet but my benchmarks were about 500 lower than running under XP. I guess Nvidia drivers are not to hot yet.

The official HP Vista driver for Nvidia cards is quite old, so I didn't bother posting most of them in the driver thread. The ones Windows gets off of Windows Update are newer, as are the ones you can get from www.laptopvideo2go.com . As Whale mentioned, though, Nvidia is way behind in their driver development, so none of the drivers have the full functionality or speed of the XP ones.

As of right now, driver support for Vista is relatively low...we're all going to experience problems for the next few months (most likely). I for one am not upgrading until ALL my devices and drivers are guaranteed to work...even my $60 scanner that is two years old.
