I finally got my dv6000t from circuit city.
    core 2 duo 1.66ghz
    120gb HDD
    1024mb ram
    Xp media center
    Wireless

Itried to burn my recovery DVDs last nite. I checked this site for info. all went well but after i got to 90% with the 2nd DVD, i lost power and had to complete it with battery. After i restored the power, i put in the 3rd disc and the PC recorvery started again from disc one so i stopped it.
    What did i do wrong?

Windows media player refused to work after the recovery problem. it says not installed properly.

Media center also generated an error problem.

    Can someone help me??

You CANNOT create retore discs on battery power. It does not allow it. I tried it with no success. Plug the laptop in and start over. I suggest DVD DL media. It only took me 2 of them on my new DV6000T...
