    has HP discontinued NOTEBOOKS ?

    Hi

    I have decided to buy a laptop and the model I selected was HP Pavillion dv2119TX. Now from many places I came to know that HP has discontinued this series and I checked HP India website (hp.com/in) also. There also this model is listed as discontinued. I called their customer information center in Bangalore,India but that guy said that these are running models and I think he himself has not much idea about what was happening.

    Then I decided to go for Comopaq. Now when I checked HP India website to check about the Compaq series there is no link for Laptops on HP India website. If I go to any of the showroom, they say all these are running models. I am badly confuzed what to do and dont know whom else than HP customer information centre I can talk to. Any body having any ideas. Has HP discontinued all the notebook models in India :confused: . WHy the hell this link is not there and there is no word from HP. This is really frustrating .

    It wont be discontinued but probably refreshed. They might just be updating the product line considering Vista's release is around the corner.

    after 2 months of R & D I selected this model and I am really sad now...my purchase is getting delayed...just cant wait :(
