is it normal for the 6770m to raise thermal idle temps into the low 50s? it seems to always idle about 10 degrees warmer than if i have the intel option set. i don't see a way to change the fan speeds either unless coolsense is the only thing

it is normal for it to raise the idle temp but 10 degrees is too much imo. mine only increase around 3c-5c.

For me, I usually get ~40c idle CPU temp on Intel graphics, and ~50c idle CPU temp on AMD, with 55-60c idle GPU temp.
So yes, I'd consider that normal, especially since they both share a heat sink and fan.
