you guys know the dolby surround sound expander and the bass enhancer program on the bottom right in the taskbar?? well when i turn off the surround sound, it causes certain apps to sound different. for example the fingerprint reader. a successful swipe will sound muddy but with the surround sound enabled, it will become clear. this problem also conflicts with AIM and webchat, id have to turn on the surround sound to hear the person's voice clearly. Can u you guys check on this issue for me? thanks

I don't have this issue. Then again, I don't use AIM. Update drivers?

I really don't know. But it doesn't hurt to check if there are updated drivers for both.
