I just upgraded to Windows 7, downloaded the drives off HP website and most everything is working great if not better. I've got 4 items under device manager (3 base system devices and 1 unknown device) that don't have drivers. I'm not sure exactly what those are. Quick launch works except for the base/treble, and ql volume works, but doesn't show up on screen. Other than that I haven't noticed anything else amiss.

Anyone else done this and how were your results?

Just figured out one of those, downloaded the card reader drivers and now only have the one unknown device listed.

Go into the properties of the unknown device and select the option for Hardware ID. Then post it here. Should be able to figure out the device based upon the hardware id

OK I fixed it. I just went down the list on HPs website and downloaded the drivers. Now everything shows it's working fine under device manager. But still no visuals with the soft touch volume, and nothing on the bass/treble.

Same here! Though Im getting the visual feedback for volume adjustment, nothing seems to work for treble/bass controls!

That did it nephipower. I also get the visual for the bass/treble with that. But still no visual with the volume, but that's not a big deal. All buttons are working. :) repped.

I have the SAME exact problem. I tried and retried install all of HP's drivers and software (even stuff I didn't want on my system) and it didn't fix it. Have you had any luck getting the treble and bass to show on the screen properly?

Yes as noted above. Try reading nephopower's post just above.
